Before, During and After Photos
As my other main blog gets fuller, some of the pics have dropped into the archives... so I thought I'd create a blog just for photos.
Lots will have been published previously on The Fat Files, though a few more pics will be added here.
I hope you enjoy seeing my transformation as much as I enjoy looking back and seeing the definitive results that following the Weight Watchers lifestyle has given me.

This photo of my grandmother (Mac) and I was taken while holidaying in Melbourne in May, 2004. Just call me "The Crusher" 'cos I look like I could have squeezed the poor woman to death with just a small twitch of my arms...

Another pic taken in Melbourne May, 2004 – hiding in a tree with my family. I considered this to be a nice pic at the time...

One of the series of Camera Club Xmas Party photos taken early December 2004. After seeing this series of images I decided enough was enough.

Taken on the day I joined Weight Watchers – January 6, 2005. I weighed 109.2kg and was told that in order to be "healthy" I had to reach 73.0kg – a loss of 36.2kg (I'm 171cm tall).
To say I was shocked is a serious understatement.

14 Feb, 2005. Lost about 9kg – most people probably won't notice much of a difference, though I did notice that my face was alot less puffy.

24 April 2005. I loved this top and wore it for as long as I could – I even had a lady down the road keep taking it in... Here I've lost 19.2kg.

22 June 2005. 26.4kg gone now – I loved this top too... I was feeling pretty good about myself at this time.

30 August 2005. 32.2kg lost... I bought this top on ebay when it was still a few sizes too small and just worked hard until I could fit into it. This top taught me a valuable lesson – no matter what size you are, some clothes just aren't going to look good!

9 September 2005. 34.1kg gone. My mum likes this top the best, and it looks fabulous with jeans!

I go to Goal on Thursday, 29 September 2005. 36.2kg lost in 38 weeks. On the day I got to Goal I won a meeting with James Reyne at my local radio station – I still cringe with embarassment every time I think of that morning 'cos I made such a fool of myself! (I made a comment about how I loved him on Getaway – but it's his brother David who does the travel show) *eek*

22 December 2005. For Christmas last year, my boss shouted us a round of golf – my very first! Here I am attempting to putt (my work mates shown, boss taking the pic). I had a ball – but couldn't play well for love nor money.
I was planning on taking secret golf lessons this year so I could beat 'em at their own game come this Christmas... but I haven't found the time – or golf clubs!

December 3, 2005. This is the Reveal Dress, photo taken exactly one year after the series of pics that sent me to Weight Watchers. I still can't believe what a difference a year makes!

December 2005. I was feeling great about myself just before I headed back to Melbourne for the Xmas Rellie Reveal (40.5kg lost now), so had a mate (Ted) take some pics of me.

24 Decmber 2005. This is another dress I just had to have. This pic was taken by my mum just before we headed out the door to attend the Rellie Reveal (I was doing a bit of a fashion parade). I ended up wearing the Reveal Dress instead of this one...

24 December 2005. I actually only wore the Reveal Dress for about 20 minutes. It was so cold that I had to change into something MUCH warmer! I think I do the Michellan Man look quite well...

3 January 2006. This is Mac and I in Melbourne 2005. I still dwarf my gran, but not quite so much this time around.

3 January 2006. This is Julie– the one I surprised at Maccas. Since then, Julie has started walking with a girlfriend and is losing weight after being inspired by my loss. Go Julie!

11 March 2006. This is Mount Coolum on the Sunshine Coast. Doesn't look like much from this angle, but it's such a steep climb!

In the car park, psyching myself up..

Half way up – the worst was behind me now (or so my friends said...)

Rocky Balboa: eat your heart out – I made it to the top of a mountain! (da na naa... da na naa...)

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I'd take in the view from the top...

Just before SOTY entries were due in (May, 2006) I reached my 40kg loss again (I had gained about 2kg in previous months, though was still under Goal weight).
I love this photo of me in my size 10 jeans!

* * *
Found these 2 pics floating around my study... the one on the left was taken about 3 years ago I guess – I weighed about 105kg at the time.
The shot on the right was taken in March 2006 for my passport.
I think I've aged a lot in the last couple of years what with all the fat no longer filling our the creases in my face – but I kinda like my creases – each one tells a story about ME.

FROM THE ARCHIVES: MY WEDDING DAY
I've been with Sean for just over 13 years now, though we've only been married for 4 of those years.
I went through numerous shopping centres trying to find something to wear – some of the clothes my mum made me try on were horrendous! – but there was nothing that fit properly or looked any good so I ended up getting a lady to make my outfit.
I would have been around 97kg on my wedding day... around a size 20.

Lots will have been published previously on The Fat Files, though a few more pics will be added here.
I hope you enjoy seeing my transformation as much as I enjoy looking back and seeing the definitive results that following the Weight Watchers lifestyle has given me.

Hi Georgie,
You've done brilliantly and look great. I think you look just as young and at least as pretty if not prettier than did before you lost the weight. Even 20 years olds have some lines. You're certainly not wrinkly.

And disagree where you said you think you look older now - in all honesty, when you first began i would have actually guessed your age at the 40s - but now, i'd guess that you are about the same age as me! (i'm 21)
WELL DONE!
Love Nikki
